Straight talk about the law

Plain English

The lawyer's first duty to the client is to report and answer questions.  A client has the right to straight answers from his or her lawyer in clear, succinct language.  We report to you however you find most comfortable.  This means returning your calls and answering your questions.  We don't talk down to you or lose you, or the courts, in pretentious legalese.  Experience counts.

Law is a service profession

We concentrate our practice to ensure that you receive the thorough attention you deserve.  We achieve the best possible results by careful planning and with client involvement and input.  This also means handling the client's questions and problems with a sense of urgency.

We are professionally budget conscious.  We set priorities with you to keep fees within your budget.  This approach is economical: we manage your resources and "value bill."  The idea is to maximize your financial return or saving and minimize risk and financial exposure, while preventing future problems.  We keep expenses reasonable and pass this cost savings on.

Contingent attorneys' fees refers only to those fees charged by attorneys for their legal services.  Such fees are not permitted in all types of cases.  Court costs and other additional expenses of legal action usually must be paid by the client.

Continuing relationships

We earn our client's trust, their repeat business and we appreciate their telling family, friends, and business associates about us.  We value our reputation in the courts, with our clients and in the legal community.
